Zip-lining over 3000ft high in Costa Rica

La Fortuna waterfalls Over 3000 feet was the highest point at which I zip-lined or death slide as it’s also known as, thru the Costa Rican rain forest…the steady downpour of rain did not help matter’s as it made it much more difficult to apply the brakes to the slippery cable…but what a thrill it was soaring like an Eagle high above the Costa rican jungle, looking down praying the cable would not break!!!…lol

  • White Water Rafting in Costa Rica

White water rafting in Costa Rica WORDPRESS (1) WORDPRESS (2) WORDPRESS (3) WORDPRESS (4)One of my favorite days in Costa Rica was my adrenaline filled, heart pounding adventure of white water rafting down the Balsi river. Taking the level 2-3 course, I thought I could bring my own camera for the ride and take my own pictures…boy was I wrong!..lucky for me after much reasoning from the tour guide and friend, I finally listened to their advice to leave my camera and let the guide take the pics. The course was much rougher then I expected and I actually took a plunge overboard when we hit a unforgiving wave. The unexpected dip in the raging waters would have ruined my camera and trip!…I was pulled back into the raft by an Angelic saviour who use my Dreadlocks to reel me in!
